The Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band formed in 1986 in Buffalo, New York, by vocalist and guitarist John Rzeznik and vocalist and bass guitarist Robby Takac.  The Goo Goo Dolls were originally called The Sex Maggots which was changed when a promoter refused to book them.  The Goo Goo Dolls released its third album, Hold Me Up, in 1990 and featured Rzeznik as the lead vocalist on five tracks, including the single, "There You Are" - as well their then concert favorite, Two Days in February.  On May 23, 2011, It was announced by The Goo Goo Dolss that they had recorded a song for the upcoming film Transformers: Dark of the Moon called "All That You Are", and was released on the film's soundtrack on June 14, 2011.
