In 1985, Stevie Nicks released the platinum album Rock a Little.  Stevie Nicks, born Stephanie Lynn Nicks on May 26, 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona, is an American singer and songwriter, best known for her work with Fleetwood Mac and a long solo career that has produced over 20 Top 10 hits.  Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham formed a band called Fritz and were the opening act for Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin.  Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham joined up with Mick Fleetwood and released the album Fleetwood Mac in 1975.  Stevie Nicks is known for, other than her platform boots and billowy apparel, her use of the now classic, Sennheiser MD-441-U.  Stevie Nicks recorded her first solo album Bella Donna in 1981.  Stevie Nicks released a second solo album titled The Wild Heart in 1983.  The follow-up album Rumours, released in 1977, became one of the best-selling albums of all time. It featured several of Stevie Nicks' songs.  With her first guitar, at the age of sixteen, Stevie Nicks wrote her first song called I've Loved and I've Lost.
