The Georgia Dome is the location of one of the most exciting events in all of sports, the NCAA Final Four Men's Championship. Sixty-eight teams will compete to go to Atlanta on April 8 for the championship game.
This year marks the 75th edition of the NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four. The actual anniversary will take place next year. Atlanta will also host the 75th Anniversary of the Division 1 Tournament.
Among the most coveted tickets in sports, Final Four Tickets this year will range in price from $325 to $43,220 for an executive suite.
Seeding for the tournament is a bit complicated, but the final seeding is done by the NCAA Selection Committee. Thirty teams will given slots for winning their conferences. The remaining 37 teams are placed by the Selection Committee.
Last year's tournament was won by the Kentucky Wildcats, but with the constant change in student athletes, championships at the college level tend to change quickly.
Tickets for NCAA Final Four games are available now, even though the seeding won't happen for a little while. It won't really matter which teams get seeded at the top; the Final Four is always a great time.
The Final Four are the champions of the tournament's four regional brackets, and the only teams remaining on the tournament's final weekend. The NCAA, which has a trademark on the term, says Final Four was originated by a Cleveland Plain Dealer sportswriter, Ed Chay, in a 1975. The NCAA started capitalizing the term, Final Four, in 1978. The term Final Four refers to the last four teams remaining the NCAA basketball tournament.
