Lucinda Williams (born January 26, 1953) is an American rock, folk, blues and country music singer and songwriter. Lucinda Williams was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the daughter of poet and
literature professor Miller Williams and an amateur pianist. In 1999, Lucinda Williams appeared on Return of the Grievous Angel: A Tribute to Gram Parsons, duetting with David Crosby on the title track of the tribute album. On March 1, 2011, Lucinda Williams released a new album, Blessed.
