 The Electric Factory, a converted tire warehouse at 22nd and Arch Streets, opened in 1968 and closed in 1973. The Electric Factory, which is an actual converted electric factory, can hold 2500; there is also a standing room-only venue located to the north at 421 N. 7th St. at Willow St. The Electric Factory is a concert venue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The first performers, on February 2, 1968, were the Chambers Brothers at the Electric Factory.
