Brian McKnight (born June 5, 1969) is an American singer-songwriter, arranger, producer, and R&B musician, hosting his own evening short-lived talk show. In 1987, Brian McKnight's older brother, Claude McKnight III, and his band, Take 6, signed a record deal with Warner Brothers. In 2004, Brian McKnight co-wrote with Australian Soul artist Guy Sebastian the song "Wait", off Sebastian's Beautiful Life album. On February 11, 2010, Brian McKnight proposed to his girlfriend Annalisa Mungcal during one of his performances.
