| The Benedum Center for the Performing Arts (formerly known as the Stanley Theater) is a theater venue in the Cultural District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. The Benedum Center opened on February 27, 1928, and is currently able to host about 2,885 people. The Benedum Center is the home of the Pittsburgh Opera, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera. The Benedum Center has hosted many recent PBS doo-wop concert specials. |
